Though it’s been delayed until late May 2020, Chigz Tech Reviews managed to obtain a G-Shock GBD-H1000-1A7 for a video review. The black and white GBD-H1000-1A7 is one of four GBD-H1000 colorways being released worldwide, and one of two in the U.S., where it retails for $399. The watch is part of the new G-Shock Move line in the U.S. and the G-Shock Sport line in the U.K. In Asia, it is part of the existing G-SQUAD line.
Chigz does an unboxing and runs through the major features of the watch, including the different display modes. He also demonstrates (a beta version of) the G-Shock Move smartphone app, and provides some wrist shots on his 7-inch wrist.
Overall, the review gives a favorable impression of the GBD-H1000. The training features are unique for a G-Shock and useful for runners, walkers, and cardio workouts. The watch can also serve as a survival watch, with the environmental sensors (altimeter, barometer, compass, and thermometer), 200-meter water resistance, and solar-assisted power. The MIP LCD display is very clear and readable, and the watch looks extremely rugged and durable, as one would expect from a G-Shock.

Thanks for the review, looks great. Does it support international messages? For example can it display this: “Αυτό το ρολόι μιλάει Ελληνικά.” Which means “this watch speaks greek”.
Ouch, have just read TechRadar’s review and it seems there is no way to get the data out of the G-Shock app into something like Google Fit or Strava. Whilst not a disaster, inasmuch as it can be added to the app, that’s not something I was expecting to have to do MANUALLY.
