G-Shock GBA900-1A & GBA900-7A now available at Reeds (US), GBA-800 and GBD-800 series in end of production status

The white G-Shock GBA900-7A fitness watch from the all-new GBA-900 series is now available at Reeds.com (USA only) for $130. The black GBA900-1A is also expected to be released in the U.S., but Reeds is the only retailer that is carrying any GBA-900 models at the moment and only has the white version.

Update: The black GBA900-1A is now also available at Reeds.

The step-counting GBA-900 features a new sporty design with two large vent holes on the band. It also has improved features over the previous GBA-800, such as a more accurate step counter (that can calibrate itself by initially using it with a Bluetooth-connected, GPS-equipped smartphone), automatic lap measurement, a 5-step exercise intensity graph, and a low-battery alert. Other fitness features include a 45-record lap memory and an interval timer (with up to 5 time settings repeatable up to 20 times).

According to G-Shock Japan, all GBA-800 and GBD-800 models have ended production. However, watches from these series are still available from retailers and remain part of the lineup in most countries.
