The Pro Trek PRJB001B-2 is sold out at Casio U.S. and almost sold out at Amazon with only five left (with Amazon.com as the seller), which is currently offering it for $145.69 (19% off). The PRJB001B-2 is one of two PRJB001 models that were released in the U.S. and has a band that combines blue cloth and orange bungee cord, which allows the watch to be put on and removed very quickly without having to deal with a buckle or keeper. That, along with its elasticity and large maximum size fitting, should be useful when wearing the watch over outerwear sleeves. (The other U.S. release, PRJB001WM-1, is a sold out limited edition with a cloth band, and PRJ-B001 models with the soft urethane band were not released in the U.S.) The PRJB001B-2 band has quick-release levers, and there are some aftermarket 23mm nylon straps on Amazon that are stated to be compatible with the PRJ-B001, but they are not official parts.
As part of Pro Trek’s Hiker Line, the PRJB001B-2 features Tough Solar power, Bluetooth smartphone link, world time, stopwatch (1/100-second units for first 60 minutes), countdown timer (60 minutes max), 5 daily alarms, hourly time signal, double LED light with adjustable 1.5 or 3 second duration, full auto-calendar, button tone on/off, hand shift to clear the LCD display, and six day-of-week language options. The optional Bluetooth functions include auto time adjustment, easy watch setting, around 300 world time cities, time & place log, and phone finder. The watch measures 50.3 x 46 x 13.6 millimeters and weighs 37 grams, with a compatible band size of 145 to 215 millimeters (5.7 to 8.46 inches).
