G-SHOCK MRG-D5000
The MRG-D5000 is the peak result of the G-Shock Blue Rose Project that applied lab-grown blue sapphire to the designs of three high-end 5000 models. The MRG-D5000 has a full sapphire bezel covering its titanium case and is limited to 20 individually-numbered watches worldwide, with most countries getting only a single allocation each. Although it was not officially designated as Dream Project #3 after the solid gold G-D5000 and G-D001, the watch follows in the same spirit with a “Dream Project” label on the case back, and the “D” in the name pays tribute to the original Dream Project initiative, according to Casio.
