The recent Casio network hack that resulted in G-Shock release delays in Japan is apparently not affecting all international releases in a major way, as Casio America announced the release of the G-Shock GMCB2100 series, which is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 25 at select retailers. The launch models include the GMCB2100D-1A and GMCB2100AD-2A which have a price of $800 each. Both watches are now listed at casio.com/us as coming soon (links below), with the GMCB2100AD-2A listed as “GMCB2100AD2A.” Casio America also recently released the Casiotron TRN50ZE-1A from the second Casio Watch 50th Anniversary limited series and is expected to release the black and gold G-Shock GMCB2100ZE1A (or maybe “GMCB2100ZE-1A”) from that series for $930 in the near future (possibly November).
The GMC-B2100D-1A and GMC-B2100AD-2A are also listed as coming soon at the official Casio sites for the United Kingdom (£739 each), Singapore (S$949 each), Malaysia (RM3,395 each), and select European countries (€799 each).
Update: The GMB2100D-1A and GMB2100AD-2A are now available to purchase at benbridge.com for $800 each.
