The limited and made-in-Japan TRN50SS-2A is the second TRN-50 model to be released for the 50th Anniversary in 2024. The retro watch is a revival of the first-ever Casio wristwatch with modern features like Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6, and Bluetooth smartphone link. The screw-lock case back has a glass insert with a blue printing and the 50th Anniversary logo in gold. Unlike the TRN-50-2A which was announced as limited to 4,000 watches worldwide, the production amount for the TRN-50SS-2A is unknown.
The G-Shock GMWB5000SS-2 from the same series is also listed as coming soon at casio.com/us for $700. (Casio Singapore also has the Baby-G, Edifice, G-Shock, and Pro Trek models available.)
