Casio CRW001-1 ring watch U.S. restock sells out in 10 minutes

If you're having problems ordering the CRW001-1, do this

The bad news is that the restocking of the Casio CRW001-1 ring watch in the U.S. sold out in about ten minutes. The good news is that I was able to order one, but not without a scare. I noticed that the “Buy Now” link went live at around 11:11 a.m. (EDT) and I also received the notification email at that time. I was logged into Casio.com with my Casio ID account, but when I added the ring watch to my cart and tried to go to the checkout page, it said my cart was empty. I tried it twice and thought maybe it was already sold out. I then used another browser that was not logged into Casio and was able to complete the checkout with Paypal (without ever having to log into Casio at all). I received an order confirmation email from Casio stating that it is being processed. When I refreshed the product page at 11:20, the “Buy Now” link was gone. The quantity was limited to one per customer this time, but it still sold out very quickly.

There were two emails sent for the restock. The first one that came at 11:11 appeared to be for those who signed up for notifications on the product page, and the second came at 11:15 and was probably sent to all Casio ID accounts on the mailing list.

The first email states, “If the product runs out of stock again, you will need to re-subscribe for another alert.”
