According to a screenshot of a Casio America customer service response shared on Reddit, the sold out Casio CRW001-1 Ring Watch will be restocked in the United States, but there is currently “no specific information as to when.” The message also confirmed and apologized for Casio America not sending a notification email with the initial release.
There still appears to be hope for those who didn’t get it the first time, but it remains to be seen if there will be any advance notice given or a notification email when it goes live again. There is currently a “Notify Me” link in place of the “Buy Now” link (but we are now having issues with the “Log In” link not working).
We have no way of knowing if the message is authentic or accurate, but we also have no reason to doubt it. We can confirm that the “Notify Me” link on the CRW001-1 product page was recently added again after there was no “Buy Now” or “Notify Me” link there the day after it sold out.
Fan site Great G-Shock World reported that more stock will also be added in Japan (after the European release which is coming soon) and speculates that the restocking in Japan will be in February or March 2025. If true, this suggests that the U.S. restocking could also be months away, but there is no way of knowing at the moment.
The CRW001-1 was released online in the U.S. at Casio.com on December 26 and sold out almost immediately.
