Casio Lab releases its first watches in U.S., SAN100H sauna watches

One month after its launch in the U.S., Casio Lab released the heat-resistant Casio “Sadokei” Sauna Watch, including the full black SAN100H-1B and black-white-orange SAN100H-7B for $110 each. After completing a survey at the Casio Lab site, Casio ID members were later sent a notification email with the product links, with a limit of one per cart. (Like the Sales and Outlet sections at the Casio U.S. website, the Casio Lab surveys do not appear for visitors connecting from outside the U.S.) The sauna watches were released at 11:30 a.m. EST on March 4, and as of 3:00 a.m., March 5, the SAN100H-7B is now sold out but the SAN100H-1B is still available. Although the watches were not linked to on the main Casio catalog pages, the SAN100H-1B product page (casio.com/us) now shows up in Google search, and it looks like anyone can buy it (even those without a Casio ID), but shipping is limited to the U.S.

The SAN-100H series was originally a crowdsourced project in Japan (as “CPP-002“), which turned out to be extremely popular and led to a general release in late 2025, resulting in it selling out and Casio restocking it several times. It is still difficult to obtain in Japan where it sells out at retailers and Casio Japan sells it by online lottery, and we are a bit surprised that both models didn’t sell out on the first day in the U.S., based on the scarcity and uniqueness. This is the first time that the SAN-100H was officially released outside of Japan. The analog watch with stretchable band features a sauna mode with a 12-minue timer, heat resistance up to 212°F for 15 minutes, and water resistance up to 50 meters. The estimated battery life is five years with a heat-resistant BR1225A battery.

Casio Lab is also set to release the Casio MTP-B185 analog watch series soon, but the survey period has ended for that release.

It’s not yet known if any G-Shock watches will be released through Casio Lab.
