Gold Casio Ring Watch CRW-001G-9 is available by lottery sales at several Japanese retailers

Like the original Casio CRW-001-1 ring watch, the new gold ion-plated CRW-001G-9 will be sold by lottery in Japan at Casio.com (CRW-001G-9JR, 22,000 yen, Japan shipping only), with the application period taking place until October 6 (12:00). The CRW-001G-9 was also reportedly available for pre-orders at some stores before selling out quickly. Other retailers that are currently offering lottery sales in Japan include Gracis Watch (gracis-watch.com, lottery sales via Line app), select physical TiCTAC stores including Kagoshima, LaLaport Fujimi, Namba Parks, Kuzuha Mall, and possibly others (jrkagoshimacity.com, mitsui-shopping-park.com, tictac-web.com, in-person applications only for TiCTAC app members), and Threec (スリーク) Web Store (store.threec.jp, applications ending October 5, 12:00, with silver CRW-001-1JR also available). TiCTAC states that the release date is October 17, 2025.
The CRW-001G-9 is a functional watch featuring dual time, 1/100-second stopwatch, flash alert option (for daily set time and top of every hour), LED backlight, auto calendar, and 12/24-hour display. Inspired by the original G-Shock DW-5000 shape, the Casio CRW-001 ring watch is water-resistant against splashes. The ring is a size 22 and includes spacers for size 19 and size 16.
Given the popularity of the silver CRW-001-1 which received a second release in several countries in mid-2025, the CRW-001G-9 is also expected to be released worldwide. The CRW-001-1 was typically sold only at official Casio websites outside of Japan, and it remains to be seen if the CRW-001G-9 will be sold by other retailers internationally.
