Casio America announced the Casio CRW001JB-9 ring watch in collaboration with Colombian musician J Balvin. The limited edition stainless steel ring watch features a gold ion-plated case, rhinestones on the upper and lower bezel, a brick pattern on the face and bezel, and J Balvin’s flower motif engraved on the case back. This somewhat surprising release is the third CRW-001 model, following the silver CRW-001-1 and gold CRW-001G-9. The CRW-001, inspired by the G-Shock DW-5000 and originally created for the Casio Watch 50th Anniversary in 2024, is a fully functioning and water-resistant Casio watch with dual time, 1/100-second stopwatch, time flash for daily setting and hourly alert, LED backlight, and auto-calendar.
The CRW001JB-9 was announced only in the U.S. so far, where pre-orders will begin on May 28, 2026, for $200 at casio.com/us. The watch will be released on June 4 online, at the G-Shock Soho Store in New York City, and select retailers.
J Balvin previously performed for the G-Shock 40th Anniversary in New York City in 2023 and collaborated with G-Shock in early 2025 for the DWE-5600JB-1A9, which was released worldwide.
