The G-Shock Store in Soho, New York City, is hosting a launch event for a collaboration with the restaurant Sweet Chick. The event takes place on Friday, July 26, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Music will be provided by DJ Zeemufin and a special guest performer. Food will be served by Sweet Chick and alcohol by Jim Beam. Attendees must be 21 years old, and RSVP is required (see below). As this is listed as a launch event, a collaboration watch is expected to be revealed.
Sweet Chick is a popular New York restaurant chain that serves Southern-style American comfort food. A late-night eatery famous for its chicken and waffles and cocktails, Sweet Chick now has five locations, including Los Angeles, and will be opening in London soon.
Update: The G-Shock Store in Soho provided a glimpse of the watch which is a DW-6900 with the motto “Spread Love” printed on the band and a Sweet Chick logo on the lower band. According to the box, only 100 pieces are available.
