Will a G-Shock G-STEEL GST-B300 watch survive an explosion?

Casio U.K. host Warren joins his friend Steve, a Royal Marine veteran and G-Shock owner, for the most explosive G-Shock torture test yet.

In this extreme test, military-grade plastic explosive is detonated 32 centimeters away from a G-Shock GST-B300SD-1A watch placed on a tank track. While the watch isn’t taking a direct hit with the tank track between it and the explosive, it still has to bear the brunt of the explosion’s powerful blast wave. Amazingly, the watch survives, not just once, but over the course of three consecutive blasts.

The analog-digital GST-B300 series features a stainless steel and resin case, Carbon Core Guard structure, Bluetooth smartphone link, and dual LED lights with an LCD backlight. We probably don’t need to remind you that it’s also shock-resistant.
