G-Shock DW5000R-1A sells out in minutes at Casio U.S. website [More batches added]

The G-Shock DW5000R-1A was apparently released officially today at the Casio America website, as we received an email at 10:18 a.m. and the “Buy Now” link was active at casio.com/us. We continued to check its status regularly, and after refreshing the page at 10:55 a.m., we saw that the “Buy Now” link had changed to the “Notify Me” link, implying that it was sold out. We would not assume that it is completely sold out there yet, as Casio America is possibly releasing it in batches like it has with some other releases in the past. We also expect other retailers to start selling the watch soon.
Update: The watch is now available again at Casio.com. For delivery before Christmas, Thursday (2 p.m. EST) is the last day to order with express shipping and Monday (2 p.m.) is the last to day to order with next-day air shipping, according to Casio. Casio appears to be selling it in batches, and we suggest continuing to check the website if it sells out again.
