Apologies if you’re a New Zealander who thought that the Casio CRW-001-1 ring watch would be released in New Zealand after Australia’s release on January 13. The ring watch (listed as CRW001-1D) was released online in New Zealand on Monday, December 23, and sold out quickly. There was no advance notice of the release date, but Casio New Zealand did post on social media five days before the launch that the ring watch was coming soon. On the launch post, Casio New Zealand described the stock as “extremely limited.”
The ring watch is still coming soon to the United States (December 26) and Singapore (January 8), as well as other to countries at undetermined dates. Casio U.K. posted to instagram.com on December 18 that the CRW-001-1ER is coming soon, and it is still listed as coming soon on the product page at casio.co.uk. We probably won’t continue to report on the release dates and stock statuses for every possible country, so we suggest following your country’s official Casio site and social media channels for updates about the CRW-001-1. We should also remind you that although it has the shape of a G-Shock, the CRW-001-1 is a Casio watch release and not a G-Shock release, so you should be checking the Casio site (and social media) and not the G-Shock site.
