There was some confusion as to whether the black DLC-coated G-Shock MRG-B5000B-1 will be sold in the U.K., as g-shock.co.uk started selling the silver carbide-coated MRG-B5000D-1DR (now out of stock, or maybe it didn’t go on sale yet) but not the MRG-B5000B-1DR. The MRG-B5000B was announced as coming soon to G-Shock London on Instagram a few weeks ago, and it is currently listed at g-shock.co.uk as coming soon (but it’s not in the “Coming Soon” section). The MRG-B5000B-1DR is likely to sell out when it does arrive, assuming that the U.K. allocation is not very large. We recommend creating an account so you can enable the “Notify Me” function. The watch should also be available at the G-Shock London store on Carnaby Street, and we suggest following the Instagram account (below) for updates.
Update: The MRG-B5000B-1DR appears to be out of stock now (but maybe it hasn’t gone on sale yet), and the silver MRG-B5000D-1DR is now available.
