G-Shock is releasing the GAE-2100EV-1AJR box set in collaboration with Everyone (stylized as “everyone”), a shop managed by Japanese fashion director Ryo Miyoshi. The base watch looks similar to the black GA-2100-1A1 but with a dark navy blue dial, and it comes in a box set that includes two more bezel and band sets in navy blue and white. The bands are inspired by stirrup leather used for horseback riding, with numbers engraved below each band hole. The stainless steel case back has a custom engraving with a description of the collaboration, which is also printed on the box.
The GAE-2100 base watch is a Carbon Core Guard with the same functions as the GA-2100, but the bezel attaches to the case without screws for faster swapping and is removable with the included tool. Like the GA-2100, the bands of the GAE-2100 have quick-release levers for easy removal.
The GAE-2100EV-1AJR will be sold by lottery in Japan at www.casio.com/jp with a retail price of 30,800 yen including tax. The lottery application period is from April 1 to 4. The watch is also expected to be sold at everyonetokyo.com. It’s not yet known if the watch will be sold outside of Japan.
