Following its 2018 DW-6900 collaboration, Japanese sportswear-themed fashion brand and imaginary football club F.C. Real Bristol is releasing an exclusive and limited G-Shock DW-5750 for 2022. The launch continues the brand’s tradition of releasing a G-Shock collaboration every four years (during World Cup years).
The black watch features the brand name above the LCD display and “FOOTBALL IS BEAUTIFUL” below it. The Bristol logo appears on the EL backlight and is engraved on the stainless steel case back with “2022.”
The DW-5750 is a retro model based on the DW-5700 from 1987. Revived during the G-Shock 35th Anniversary in 2018, it hasn’t been active over the past few years in terms of new colorways, with the exception of some collaborations in Japan. The DW-5750 shares the same module and functions as the current DW-5600, including a 1/100-second stopwatch, 24-hour timer, multi-function alarm with hourly time signal, flash alert, and EL backlight with afterglow. The watch measures 48.9 × 45.4 × 14.1 and weighs 53 grams.
The “FCRB Team G-Shock” watch will be available on November 19 at Soph stores in Japan along with the Soph online shop at 12:00 for 20,900 yen. (International shipping is available via WorldShopping.)
