G-Shock prices have recently increased for almost the entire U.S. catalog at Casio.com/us, with surges of around 10% for most series. Some prices on recent models did not increase, as the prices were already in line with the elevated range. There are also a few older models without price increases from some less active and possibly soon-to-be discontinued series. Some U.S. retailers are following suit and started raising prices on older models, but not all have done so yet. Authorized U.S. dealer Reeds Jewelers, along with some others, still offers the same prices on previous releases, and it may be a good time to buy something before that changes. [Update: The prices have also increased at Reeds.] You can still get the DW5000R-1A for $200, GM2110D models for $300, GMWB5000 and GMB2100 models for $550, and GWGB1000 models for $800. Reeds was also recently selling the GW5000U-1 for $300, but it is out of stock now. [Now in stock at Reeds for $330.] The higher MSRPs have also affected some best-selling and discounted models sold by Amazon.com, particularly the GWM5610-1 listing (which is actually the GW-M5610U-1) which is now $140 after usually being around the $100 range, although many other G-Shock watches still remain at their usual discounted levels there.
