A special collaboration with G-Shock and artist kaNO will be released on Friday, March 29, at the G-Shock Soho Store in New York City. The G-Shock DW6900-1KN, featuring an exclusive band designed by the artist, is limited to fifty watches with each being individually numbered. In addition to the launch, there will also be a pop-up shop and exhibition on the second floor featuring more of kaNO’s art. (The pop-up shop will be open from March 29 to 30 and the gallery will be open until April 29. The G-Shock Soho Store hours are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.) kaNO also mentioned that an after-party to celebrate the release is being held at The Hidden Tiger starting at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Influenced by graffiti and cartoons as a kid, kaNO was born and raised in New York City and now resides in Los Angeles, where he has done character design for Warner Bros, Cartoon Network, and Hasbro. He also manages the “kaNO kid” brand at kanokid.com.
