Fourteen new G-Shock releases went live for pre-ordering at G-Shock Japan on April 1, including four limited edition models. [All models are also listed as April releases for the Asia region, except for the Akachochin Series (DW-5600AKA-4 and DW-6900AKA-4).]
Black and Electro Green Series
This unique series is similar to the Black and Bold Red Series but with green tinted displays and with four analog-digital models and one full digital. The models include the GA-100BEG-1A (middle, with approx. 2-year battery), GA-700BEG-1A (right, with 5-year battery), GA-B010BEG-1A (second from right, with Tough Solar with Bluetooth and Step Tracker), GA-B2100BEG-1A (second from left, with Tough Solar and Bluetooth), and GD-010BEG-1 (left, with 10-year battery). For a more affordable non-G-Shock option with a similar green-tinted digital style, there is also the Casio AE1500WHC-1AV which is currently available for $45.95 at casio.com. (GA-100BEG-1AJF: 18,700 yen, GA-700BEG-1AJF: 18,700 yen, GA-B010BEG-1AJF: 27,500 yen, GA-B2100BEG-1AJF: 24,750 yen, GD-010BEG-1JF: 14,850 yen)
GW-BX5600CBG-2 with Recycled Cloth Band
This is the first GW-BX5600 watch to be released following the two debut models in late 2025. This ocean-inspired watch coincides with Earth Day in April and features a blue cloth band made from recycled fishing nets. The watch is equipped with an MIP LCD display, Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6, and Bluetooth, with the ability to change between two font styles and display three time zones simultaneously along with the date.
According to the the Japanese model name (GW-BX5600CBG-2JR), this is a limited edition, and the price is 35,200 yen. Since the U.S. market has not received any GW-BX5600 models yet, it’s possible that this could be the first one there, or not.
GMW-BZ5000RC-1 with Rainbow IP Case
Unlike other previous G-Shock watches that featured a rainbow IP treatment, the limited edition full metal GMW-BZ5000RC-1 has an ion-plating on the center case instead of the bezel, giving it a more subtle appearance from the front where only a few small sections of the rainbow IP are visible. From an angle or side view, the rainbow IP case is more visible, as well as from the back. Casio stated that the colors of the rainbow IP on each watch is unique, and no two watches have the exact same appearance. The watch also has a rainbow border line around the display and gold IP front screws. The GMW-BZ5000RC-1JR has a price of 121,000 yen and is made in Japan like other full metal GMW models.
[Online pre-orders for the GMW-BZ5000RC-1 sold out on the first day at Casio Japan and Casio China, as well at major Japanese retailers Bic Camera and Yodobashi Camera. Casio U.K. listed the GMW-BZ5000RC-1 as a limited edition and coming soon for £770.]
G-Shock Akachochin Series
The DW-5600AKA-4 and DW-6900AKA-4 are Japan-made limited editions that continue G-Shock’s tradition of honoring the culture of its home country. The designs are based on akachochin, traditional Japanese paper lanterns that are hung outside restaurants and bars. The large black Japanese characters “耐衝撃” printed vertically on the watch mean “impact-resistant” or “shock-resistant.” Other unique elements include black buttons, a black band keeper, a printing on the LCD display that completes the characters on the bezel design, an exclusive case back engraving, and special packaging. (DW-5600AKA-4JR: 22,000 yen, DW-6900AKA-4JR: 22,000 yen)
GMC-B2100ADS-1A
The Tough Solar-powered and Bluetooth-connected GMC-B2100ADS-1A with a full analog display features a metallic vapor deposited silver dial and black subdials. This full stainless steel model is made in Japan and is the sixth GMC-B2100 model. It is the first full metal 2100 model (including GM-B2100 series) with a silver dial. (GMC-B2100ADS-1AJF: 107,800 yen)
Summer Reflection Series: GMA-P2100SR-1A and GMA-P2100SR-7A
These summer-inspired women’s watches are based on the smallest resin 2100 series and feature polarized colors applied to the display glass, which results in the colors changing depending on the viewing angle. The black GMA-P2100SR-1A features green and blue colors, and the white GMA-P2100SR-7A has pink and orange colors. The watches also have skeleton-style translucent bezels and bands which allows the center cases to be visible. As with other G-Shock models that had a special treatment on the glass, Casio warns that the dial may be difficult to see at some angles. (GMA-P2100SR-1AJF: 19,800 yen, GMA-P2100SR-7AJF: 19,800 yen)
Summer Reflection Series: GM-S2110SR-1A and GM-S2110SR-7A
The GM-S2110SR-1A with black resin band and GM-S2110SR-7A with white resin band feature elegant logo-less stainless steel bezels and have the same polarized display treatment as the previous two watches, but this time it’s the black GM-S2110SR-1A with pink and orange and the white GM-S2110SR-7A with green and blue. (GM-S2110SR-1AJF: 30,250 yen, GM-S2110SR-7AJF: 30,250 yen)
