Native American-inspired Pro Trek PRG601PE-5 collaboration with U.S. woolens maker Pendleton

The PRG601PE-5 is now available for pre-orders in the United States.

Pendleton x Pro Trek PRG601PE-5 Limited Edition Collaboration

The Pro Trek PRG601PE-5 is a collaboration with Pendleton, an American family-owned company established in 1863 that produces woolens in its Pacific Northwest mills. The PRG-601PE-5 has gray ion-plated stainless steel bezel and a cloth band made of recycled PET bottles and featuring the Native American-inspired Pendleton X4 pattern with natural earth colors, which combines the brand’s four iconic textile patterns: Pilot Rock, Wyeth Trail, Canyonlands, and Tucson. The pattern is also printed on the dial with glossy and translucent ink, and the electronic crown has a brown ion plating. Accents on the dial match the band with a blue dial ring and a multi-color second hand and subdial indicator. The watch has a co-branded case back made of bio-based resins, and the full pattern from the band is printed on the exclusive packaging. Also included is the Pendleton Eco-Wise Wool flannel watch pouch with drawstrings.

Just like the PRW-6600, which this is based on, I wish they would have used white lume instead of the faux vintage cream-colored lume. The white lume gives much better contrast and readability.
