Team G-Shock Snowboarder Louie Vito to compete in Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics

Team G-Shock athlete Louie Vito is currently in China to compete in the men’s snowboard halfpipe event at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The highly decorated Ohio-born snowboarder represented the U.S. at the Vancouver Olympic Games in 2010 but will compete for Italy, the home country of his grandparents, in 2022. The qualifying runs start on Tuesday, February 8 at 11:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC and NBCOlympics.com. The final runs start on Thursday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Vito will also be part of the opening ceremony on Friday, February 4. A multiple gold medal winner at the Winter X Games Europe, Winter Dew Tour, and U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, the 33-year-old Vito will be vying for his first Olympic medal in Beijing.
