“Watch This 1983” Launch and G-Shock G-5600E-1 Giveaway

New YouTube channel “Watch This 1983” will be holding a giveaway contest, which was revealed in an entertaining video in which a G-Shock G-5600E-1 is run over by a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. The watch naturally survives and is still operational, and it doesn’t even look damaged at all. It did have some protection from the thin cardboard box it was in, but it still had to bear the brunt of 1.54 metric tons running over it. Those who subscribe to the channel and comment on the video will have a chance to win the watch featured in the video, once the channel reaches 2,000 subscribers.

The person behind the channel told us that he plans to do more “tough testing” and “tough unboxing” videos with G-Shock watches and compare them to other watches. The next video will be offering a blackout GA-2100-1A1, which has been sold out everywhere recently, as a giveaway prize.

We certainly like the unique and generous approach this channel is taking!
