Online messaging app company Line and Casio have teamed up for the release of the Baby-G x Line Friends Limited Edition Choco Watch in Japan. The watch is available online for ¥11,880 JPY at www.linefriends.jp and was also released at the Line Friends Store in Harajuku and the Line Friends Cafe & Store in Fukuoka on December 14. The watch is limited to 1,000 units, and there is also a special edition available that includes a Choco plush toy.
The base for this collaboration is a classic light beige BGD-501. The face has a pink camouflage-like pattern made from bow tie shapes and a Choco logo with bow tie. Both the EL backlight and case back feature a depiction of the Choco bear character, and the watch comes in a Choco-branded tin and box. Choco is the fashion-conscious younger sister of Brown and sister-in-law to Cony the rabbit.
