Images of Rangeman GPR-H1000 leaked

Leaked images of the upcoming G-Shock GPR-H1000 have made their way online. The GPR-H1000 is presumably a Rangeman, as the naming convention follows the discontinued Rangeman GPR-B1000 from 2018. Stylistically, the GPR-H1000 looks similar to the Mudman GW-9500 but with a more asymmetrical design and equipped with an MIP LCD display. Although it has a round display, the overall shape appears to be more boxy and octagonal than the round shape of the GW-9500.

One of the images has the text “Digital, BLE + GPS, 6-Sensor.” “BLE” refers to Bluetooth Low Energy. The six sensors are likely to be the same as the GBD-H2000, which includes a rate monitor, step counter, gyroscope, pressure sensor with altimeter and barometer, compass, and thermometer. (GPS is not counted in the “6 Sensors” label of the GBD-H2000.)

As a Rangeman with GPS, the GPR-H1000 is expected to have navigational capabilities like the GPR-B1000 did, but how they compare to the GPR-B1000 remains to be seen. It is also uncertain how the fitness functions will compare to the GBD-H2000. Like the GPR-B1000, the watch is mud-resistant, judging by the “Mud Resist” label on the band.

The GPR-H1000 is expected to have a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with USB charging. Based on the image, it’s not clear if it also has the expected solar-assisted charging like the GPR-B1000 and GBD-H2000. The image does not show a “Solar Powered” label on the watch, but it’s possible that there are more labels on the band.

The GPR-H1000 is rumored to be a January 2024 release with a price of $500. Please keep in mind that the GPR-H1000 or any of its specifications have not been officially confirmed and that the leaked images may not fully reflect the final product.
