Casio G-Shock & Pro Trek Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals

Don’t forget to enter our 2017 Holiday Sweepstakes.

In past years Amazon offered some big discounts on certain Casio G-Shock and Pro Trek watches during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and we’re hoping that’s the case for 2017. We’ve listed the watches that are most likely to be on sale here, and will post any updates as soon as we get them. These models are sold directly by Amazon (i.e. “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com”) but please double-check as stocks may change or a different seller may be defaulted to if that seller has a lower price. Watches sold directly by Amazon.com have a 1-year Casio warranty.

The Pro Trek PRG-600Y-1 is one of the best deals for a solar-powered analog-digital Triple Sensor watch and has a STN LCD display and silicone band. Basic Casio G-Shock Watches

The DW-5600 is a based on the classic square case and is a good budget option. The DW-6900 is another classic G-Shock with a front-facing EL backlight button that is a good military choice. The DW-9052 is another popular military model and is available with resin or nylon bands. The G-2900F has more advanced features like world time, 4 alarms, E-Data Memory, and a 10-year battery. Bottom Row: The classic analog-digital G-100 series is a good entry-level G-Shock for those who prefer analog watches. They are the most affordable analog-style G-Shock watches available, and they have an LCD subdisplay with an EL backlight. The G-100-9CM with yellow lettering and standard LCD display is less commonly seen than the best-selling G-100-1BV with red lettering and reverse LCD display. The G-100 series does not have a countdown timer like other G-Shocks.

Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6 G-Shock Watches

These Tough Solar models are a good choice if you don’t want to worry about changing the battery every few years. These watches also have the Multi-Band 6 feature which automatically syncs the time with atomic clocks through the reception of radio signals. They also include advanced features like world time, multiple alarms, and auto backlight (which can be set to activate with a turn of the wrist). Our top G-Shock pick is the GW-M5610, an upgraded version of the original G-Shock. The GW-6900 is a solid choice for all-around outdoor use and is often one of the more affordable models. The long-running GW-M500A is also a good bargain for a Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6 G-Shock. The GW-2310 is an underrated model that has a very rugged look. Bottom row: The AWG-M100-1A is one of the most affordable analog-digital G-Shocks with Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6. The MTG-M900DA-8 is made of metal and resin and has a stainless steel band with a folding clasp lock. The AWG-M100A-1A is a more recent release with a handsome stainless steel bezel with blue IP coating. The GW-M850-7 has a modern and stylish white design.

Tough Solar G-Shock Watches

G-Shock watches with Tough Solar (and no Multi-Band 6) tend to be more affordable than Multi-Band 6 models. The GAS-100-1A is a recent model and has the distinction of being the most affordable large-size analog-digital G-Shock with Tough Solar.

Specialty G-Shocks: G-9000, G-9100, GD-350, GD-400

The previous generation Mudman G-9000 is an older model but one of our favorites. It offers mud resistance and low temperature resistance and is a good choice for any environment and activity. The Gulfman G-9100 is another classic featuring titanium metal parts, rust resistance, and a tide and moon graph. The GD-350 is our top pick for military use and features vibration alerts. Bottom row: The GD-400 is a large extra-rugged model with a thick bullbar face protector.

Casio Pro Trek PRG-600 and PRG-650

The Pro Trek PRG-600 and PRG-650 are Tough Solar analog-digital models with a Triple Sensor and premium features like stainless steel bezels, STN LCD displays, and silicone bands. The PRG-600Y-1 has a silicone band. The PRG-600YB-3 has a green cloth band. The PRG-650Y-1 has a dual-layer silicone band with a luminescent inner layer. The PRG-650YBE-3 includes both a camouflage cloth band and a silicone band.

Casio Pro Trek PRG-270

The Pro Trek PRG-270 is a great option for a very affordable Triple Sensor Version 3 watch. Despite its low price the PRG-270 has full features like Tough Solar power, world time, sunrise/sunset data, 5 daily alarms with 1 snooze alarm, and full auto LED light. It comes in a variety of colors and band options.

Casio Pro Trek PRG-300

The Pro Trek PRG-300 is a solar powered watch with the Triple Sensor Version 3 (featuring altimeter/barometer, compass, and thermometer). This is a great chance to get a Triple Sensor Casio watch at a low price, and it’s also one of the slimmest and lightest Pro Trek watches available. This model is available in camouflage and orange colors for hunting.

Casio Pro Trek PRW-3000 and PRW-3100

The Pro Trek PRW-3000 is solar-powered and has the same features as the PRG-300 above such as the Triple Sensor. What differentiates it from the PRG-300 is that it also has Multi-Band 6 timekeeping. The PRW-3100 series (two on the right) is an upgrade over PRW-3000 models with a stainless steel bezel and super-twisted nematic (STN) LCD display.

Casio Pro Trek PRW-3500

The Pro Trek PRW-3500 features 200-meter water resistance which is better than most Pro Treks which have 100-meter WR. It also has a rotating bezel that will come in handy when trekking and using the digital compass. As a PRW model it is a full-featured Pro Trek watch with Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6.

Casio Pro Trek PRW-S6000Y-1 and PRW-6000

The PRW-S6000Y-1 is a high-end analog-digital Pro Trek with Tough Solar/Multi-Band 6, Triple Sensor Version 3, and a stainless steel bezel. This particular “S” model is notable for having a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a carbon fiber insert band. The PRW-6000Y-1A is a standard model with mineral glass. The high-end PRW-6000SYT-1 has a blue IP bezel, sapphire crystal, and a titanium band.
