Anonymous Jakarta-based graffiti artist Darbotz has teamed up with Casio to release a custom G-Shock DW-5600 in Indonesia. This is the first G-Shock collaboration to feature an artist in Indonesia and likely won’t be the last. The watch uses the all-black DW-5600BB as a base and has illustrations by Darbotz adorning the black bands. According to Darbotz, the design represents the importance of watches in daily lives. “I become [a] monster when I paint. I need my watch to make me human again,” he said. The Darbotz x G-Shock DW-5600 is limited to 200 units and is available at G-Shock stores in Indonesia.
