Along with the metal-covered GM-6900 series, G-Shock is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the DW-6900 with two more special editions in February: DW-6900SP-1 and DW-6900SP-7. These watches are made of translucent resin for the bezels and bands and have color gradation faces that change depending on the angle of the light. The screens of the three indicators are colored blue, green, and pink, and the main LCD display has a special background pattern made from the number 25.
Spanish retailer Fuikaomar has some real life photos of the DW-6900SP-1 on its website, where you can get a better look at the translucent qualities and colored indicators of the black model.
In Japan, the DW-6900SP-1JR and DW-6900SP-7JR have a list price of 15,400 JPY each (tax included), with a release date of February 12, 2020. The DW-6900SP-1 and DW-6900SP-7 will also be released worldwide.
Update: Casio America also announced the DW6900SP-1 and DW6900SP-7 for a March 2020 release with a list price of US$120 each.
