Gold medal wrestler Jordan Burroughs wears G-Shock watches

2012 Olympic gold medalist and four-time world champion wrestler Jordan Burroughs is often seen wearing a Casio G-Shock watch on his Instagram account @alliseeisgold. While Burroughs wears a variety of wristwatches, his G-Shock appears to be a favored watch for training environments and traveling. The model he’s been wearing recently appears to be a DW-6900PL-7 which is a 2013 model featuring a white case and a brushed metal blue-green face. He has also worn other G-Shock 6900-series watches in the past and he seems to like DW-6900 models with brushed metal faces.

Burroughs recently made the news when he dominated UFC welterweight contender and two-time national college wrestling champion Ben Askren 11-0 at the Beat the Streets “Grapple at the Garden” event in New York City on May 6, 2019. There is speculation and interest in Burroughs transitioning to a career in MMA fighting. Burroughs himself said that he wants to have “one fight” and UFC President Dana White expressed interest in signing the wrestling star. Burroughs’ next competition will be on June 15, 2019, at the Final X: Senior World Team Trials in Lincoln, Nebraska.
