G-Shock GA-700WM-5A & GA-2000WM-1A Utility Wavy Marble Series

The G-Shock GA-700WM-5A and GA-2000WM-1A are part of the Utility Wavy Marble Series and feature a marble style mixed color molding that resembles sand and represents the earth’s stratum. The GA-700WM-5A has a mix molded bezel and band, black dial with gray markers, and an inverted LCD display. The GA-2000WM-1A has a mix molded band, black bezel, beige dial with white markers, and an inverted LCD display. (Also pictured above is the G-Shock DW-5600WM-5, which is another Utility Wavy Marble model.)

The GA-700WM-5A is a large model with an extra-rugged bezel and world time, 1/100-second stopwatch (24 hour), 60 minute timer, 5 alarms with 1 snooze, LED light with afterglow (1.5/3 seconds), and approximate 5-year battery life.. The stopwatch on the GA-700 can be started with a single button press from time mode.

The GA-2000WM-1A is a mid-size Carbon Core Guard model with word time, Neobrite luminous hands, world time, 1/100-second stopwatch (24 hour), countdown timer (24 hour), double LED light with LCD backlight and afterglow (1.5/3 seconds), and approximate 3-year battery life.

Both watches are shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters.

The GA-700WM-5AJF (list price 15,500 JPY plus tax) and GA-2000WM-1AJF (16,500 JPY plus tax) are November 2020 releases in Japan. The GA-700WM-5A and GA-2000WM-1A will also be released in other Asian countries. The GA700WM-5A and GA2000WM-1A will be released in the U.S. with a list price of $110 and $130, respectively.
