G-Shock GG1000-1A8 Mudmaster Black-Gray with Blue Accents

G-Shock GG-1000-1A8 Mudmaster: Black Gray Light Blue

Scheduled for an August 2018 release in the U.S. and Asia (excluding Japan) is the G-Shock GG-1000-1A8 Mudmaster featuring a black bezel, dark gray textured bands, and blue accents. The bezel lettering and numerical index markers appear to be a faint blue and the display has neon-like bright blue accents on the Mudmaster logo and function menu dial. The GG-1000-1A8 is a battery-powered dust-and-mud-resistant model with the Twin Sensor with compass and thermometer that measures a little smaller than the original GWG-1000 Mudmaster at 55.3 mm wide. The large protected buttons make the watch operable when wearing gloves. The GG1000-1A8 has a list price of $320 USD in the U.S. (Update: The GG-1000-1A8ER is also available in Europe.)

Features include shock resistance, 200-meter water resistance, Twin Sensor (compass and thermometer), Neo-Brite luminous hands and markers, world time (48 cities + UTC), 1/100 second stopwatch, countdown timer (60 minutes), 5 daily alarms with 1 snooze alarm, low battery alert, and auto LED Super Illuminator backlight with afterglow.

sI’ve owned G Shocks for over 33 years! Gave my 5600 to my grandson as a keepsake! Now have a 7900-B! Works great! Best; no batteries needed. I also have a GWG 100 Mudmaster and it’s terrific watch. May even buy another Mudmaster of Gravitational. Casio did replace one G-Shocks, parts no longer available! Sent me a new one for free! That was given to my nephew who still uses it! Over the years I’ve had three Luminox watches. Every one gave up the ghost! Numbers fell off the face in one case. In another; the second hand began swinging wildly until it fell off! No comparison what so ever! Last one just stopped working. Took it to a watch repair store, who said it would cost $150 to fix! Final note; after ten years, I did spend $35 on my 5600, new band and cover over the face! As mentioned; it still works great!

I have a GG 1000 1a8 best watch I’ve ever owned, love the compass option, I would recommend this product very highly.
