The survival kit is assembled in Canada by VSSL Outdoor Utility Tools and appears to be the “VSSL Supplies” model. The kit is housed in a weather-resistant 9″ x 2″ mil-spec aluminum tube that has a built-in LED flashlight with static and SOS modes. The kit includes a compass, 4-hour candle, razor blade, 6 water purification tablets, wire saw, aluminum beadless emergency whistle, waterproof matches, fire starters, fishing gear, signaling mirror, marine grade rope, reflective trail markers, GI type can opener, and first aid supplies. The survival kit has a value of $109.99 USD and refills can be purchased from VSSL.
