The GD100-1B has been one of the more affordable G-Shock watches sold by Amazon.com recently, as it’s been available for around the mid-$60 range. It is currently even lower at $52.64, which is over 50% off the (updated) MSRP of $110.
The GD100-1B features a large case and offers superior battery life (of approximately 7 years) when compared to the analog-digital GA-100 (approx. 2 years). It also offers some advantages over basic and similarly affordable digital series like the DW-5600/6900/9052, such as world time and multi time with 4 settable cities, 1/100-second stopwatch for the full 23:59’59.99”duration, 5 daily or one-time alarms, button beeping sound on/off, and an auto-activation option for the LED backlight. This is the only active model that remains in the lineup for the GD-100 series.
