Mobile Suit Gundam x G-Shock DW-5600 watch for 2026 unveiled

Following last week’s teaser post on Instagram, G-Shock Korea revealed the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam collaboration watch in a new video. The watch, which will be released on June 4, 2026, is a G-Shock DW-5600 with a design inspired by the RX-78-2 Gundam. The watch has a translucent bezel and band along with a minimalist blue face and a white center case. The band has an Earth Federation Space Force emblem along with a mecha-like print and an orange band keeper. The case back is engraved with the winged horse emblem of The White Base, and “SINCE 1979” appears on the LED backlight.
The watch was not announced outside of South Korea yet, but we’re guessing that it may be an Asia-wide release. Mobile Suit Gundam is a 1979 Japanese anime series created by Yoshiyuki Tomino that launched the Gundam franchise and redefined mecha anime.
Update: G-Shock Korea posted product photos and stated that the watch will be released on June 4 online and in-store.
