Pro Trek PRW-35 is smaller and lighter than PRW-30: PRW-35-1AJF, PRW-35Y-1BJF, PRW-35Y-3JF

Casio is introducing the Pro Trek PRW-35 series, which is an upgrade to the compact PRW-30 series. The PRW-35 is slightly smaller (51.2 x 44.6 x 13 mm) and significantly lighter (45 grams) than the PRW-30 (51.6 x 45.2 x 12.3 mm, 66 grams) and is suitable for smaller wrist sizes. The weight reduction is due to the case back cover being made of bio-based resins instead of stainless steel. The case and soft urethane band are also made from bio-based resins. The PRW-35 is also equipped with a stainless steel bezel and high-contrast STN LCD display.

Features include Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 automatic radio time correction, low temperature resistance (-10C), Triple Sensor (pressure: altimeter-barometer, compass, thermometer), sunrise and sunset time display, world time, 1/10-secod stopwatch, timer (expected: 24 hours max settable in minutes), alarm (expected: 5 daily with 1 snooze), and full auto LED backlight.

The PRW-35 series is expected to launch in May 2023 in Japan. Outside of Japan, it will likely be released only in select countries. (The PRW-30 was released in Europe and some parts of Asia but not the U.S.) The tax-included prices in Japan are as follows: PRW-35-1AJF (left), 44,000 yen, with silver bezel and black band. PRW-35Y-1BJF (middle), 46,200 yen, with black ion plated bezel, inverted LCD display, and black band. PRW-35Y-3JF (right), 46,200 yen, with gray ion plated bezel and green band.
