California-inspired casual fashion and lifestyle boutique Ron Herman is releasing another G-Shock G-LIDE collaboration for 2024. The base is the GBX-100, and the watch has a minimalist black and white style with a white display border featuring the Ron Herman logo, which is also engraved on the stainless steel case back. This is the first GBX-100 release of 2024. The black ion-plated stainless steel front bezel with white lettering and the white front button give the watch a distinctive look compared to other GBX-100 models. Ron Herman previously released a GBX-100 collaboration in 2021.
The GBX-100 is an advanced G-LIDE surfing and fitness series featuring an MIP LCD display, Bluetooth smartphone link, step counter, and vibration alerts. The signature feature of the GBX-100 is its detailed tide graph display with height data and support for around 3,300 locations. It also has moon data (with moon age and phase) and sunrise and sunset times.
The watch will be available for pre-orders in Japan on April 22 (12:00 p.m.) at ronherman.jp for 36,300 yen (about US$235), and it appears that international orders are available via WorldShopping. Shipping is scheduled for May 10. Along with its many locations in Japan, Ron Herman has a store in Honolulu at Waikiki Beach, but it’s not known if the watch will be sold there.
