Casio USA releases G-Shock MRGG1000D-1A

The G-Shock MRGG1000D-1A, previously only available in Japan, Asia, and Europe, now has a U.S. release. The MRGG1000D-1A is one of the more affordable MRG-G1000 models with a list price of $2,600 USD, the other being the recently released MRGG1000DC-1A with a silver bezel and akagane copper accents. The MRGG1000D-1A is a fully analog watch featuring Tough Solar power and GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor timekeeping for automatic syncing anywhere in the world.

The MRGG1000D-1A is made of titanium and has a two-tone style with a black DLC-coated bezel. The silver body and bands feature a titanium carbide processing that provides an extremely hardened, abrasion-resistant surface. The display has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The watch displays two time zones at once with its analog subdial at the eight o’clock position. Other features include neo-brite luminous hands and markers, LED light with afterglow, world time (27 cities, 40 time zones + UTC), stopwatch, timer, time alarm, battery charge warning, power saving function, date and day display, and full auto calendar.

The MR-G luxury line represents the pinnacle of G-Shock watches. MR-G watches are manufactured in Japan at Casio’s Premium Production Line in its famed Yamagata factory. MR-G watches do not sacrifice toughness with their refined looks and have full shock resistance with Alpha Gel protection and 200-meter water resistance.
