G-Shock billboard ads appeared in Fortnite's SHIBUYA109 Shoot and Run island

Billboard ads for G-Shock watches appeared in the debut of the SHIBUYA109 Shoot and Run island for the Fortnite video game. The island (which is basically a custom map) was created by SHIBUYA109 Entertainment Co. in collaboration with Tenshabi. The 109 is a large building and department store in the trendy fashion and entertainment district of Tokyo, and the map represents a transcendent version of Shibuya. The store held an unveiling party for the map on December 26 in its Creator Collaboration Space. During the release, the maps featured electronic G-Shock billboards featuring the G-Shock logo and advertisements for recent colorway series. The ads are a continuation of G-Shock’s recent marketing efforts in virtual spaces, which have also included a VRChat store and NFTs. (We don’t know if the map is still displaying the G-Shock ads, as the company stated that the virtual ad space would be available to other companies in the future.)
