Arriving in August are a pair of G-Shock and Baby-G “Love The Sea And The Earth 2025” limited edition watches in collaboration with environmental education group I.C.E.R.C. Japan. ICERC models are typically released in Japan only but are sometimes made available in limited quantities at some G-Shock flagship stores around the world. Unlike the ICERC Japan 2024 collaboration, there is no G-Shock Frogman model with this release, but a non-ICERC Frogman GW-8200TPF based on the poison dart frog is expected to be coming later this year.
The G-Shock GW-6905K-7A is based on the humpback whale, and a blue whale silhouette appears on the LED backlight. The whale graphic, which also appears on the metallic front light button and band keeper, was designed by artist Arata Hitom. The analog-digital Baby-G BGA-2800K-7A is based on the finless porpoise. (The Baby-G BGA-2800 series was previously released only in Japan and China.) Both watches are made with bio-based resin and are equipped with Tough Solar power and Multi-Band 6 auto radio time adjustment.
