It would have been nice if the watch included multiple band options, but that would have increased the price and the GM-5600 band is interchangeable with the bands of some other popular series. Note that according to Casio, the band is not interchangeable with the DW-5600 but is interchangeable with the DW-5610 and DWE-5600, along with other series like the GA-2100, GA-B2100, GM-2100, GBM-2100, and GM-6900.
The official BANDGS02P-1JR full black band is sold by Casio Japan for 3,300 yen at casio.com/jp, and a full list of compatible models is at casio.com/jp/watches/options (and listed below), with the GM-5600BWD-1JR included. This band is a bit narrower than the GM-5600BWD-1 band and more like a standard GA-2100 band, but it would be possible to swap bands with models that have a wider band, such as the GM-5600-1 or GM-2100-1A.
Update: The band is also sold by Casio in the U.K. for £24.90 at casio.com/uk.
