G-Shock’s third collaboration with Bamford is the GM-5600BWD-1 coming in December

A third G-Shock collaboration with London-based watch brand Bamford is coming in December. The limited edition GM-5600BWD-1 watch with a price of £279 will be launched at a pop-up event at Soho’s Meera Newsagents (11 Marshall St) from December 5 to 8 and will be widely released online at Casio U.K. on December 9, as well as in-store at select U.K. retailers. Founder George Bamford says of the watch, “This, for me, is the holy trinity.” Previous collaborations included the GW-M5610BWD20-1 in 2020 and the DW-6900BWD-1 in 2023, both of which sold out quickly.

The watch is a GM-5600 featuring a stainless steel bezel (presumably ion-plated) and Bamford’s signature powder blue color accents, including large logos printed on the resin band. The watch is expected to be released internationally like the last Bamford collaboration but was announced only for the U.K. so far. Bamford operates as the luxury watch customization house Bamford Watch Department and watchmaker Bamford London.

Updates: The black finish of the bezel is confirmed to be an ion plating and not DLC. Casio Japan will be selling the GM-5600BWD-1JR for 38,500 yen through a lottery sales system in December. The watch is also listed for a release in Asia. Bamford stated in an Instagram comment that the watch will be released in the U.S.

The watch is now available online in the U.K. at casio.com/uk and is listed as coming soon in January 2026 in various European countries.
