The G-Shock DW5600JV-7 and DW6900JV-1 2D-illustrated-style collabs with L.A. artist Joshua Vides will be released soon on Monday, March 16 (9:00 a.m. PST) at joshuavides.com, and international shipping is expected to be available, according to this instagram.com post by Vides. In Japan, the watches went on pre-sale on March 14, and both models having been selling out at various online retailers. The DW-5600JV-7 has been selling faster, and the DW-6900JV-1 is still available at some retailers. Neel posted a video of both watches recently, and what is more apparent under the bright lighting is that the DW-5600JV-7 has a glossy finish on the bezel and band that includes both the white and black areas, while the DW-6900JV-1 has a matte finish.
If you miss your chance at the Joshua Vides website, the watches will also be released in the U.S. at www.casio.com/us on March 23. Casio U.S. usually releases new watches at around 11:00 a.m. EST, and we suggest signing up for release notifications on the product pages. The watches will also be released in other countries soon.
