G-Shock announced its first two collaborative releases with girl group XG, who became brand ambassadors in July 2025.
The black G-Shock GM-S5600XG-1 is a smaller metal-clad version of the classic DW-5600 and features a stainless steel bezel with black IP and a rainbow vapor deposition applied to the glass, resulting in dynamic color changes when viewed at different angles. XG logos appear on the face, case back, and stainless steel band keeper.
The pink G-Shock GMA-S110XG-4A is a smaller version of the GA-110 and is made from a mixed resin molding for a marbled effect. XG logos appear on the dial near 3 o’clock, case back, and resin band keeper.
Both of these limited edition models come in special XG-branded packaging.
XG made its debut in 2022 and became G-Shock brand ambassadors in July 2025. The members of the South Korea-based group are Japanese and perform their hip-hop and R&B-influenced songs in English, which are described by the group as “X-pop.” The group is currently on “The Core” world tour with upcoming dates in Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong, Taipei, Australia, and North America, with more dates for the U.K. and Europe to be announced.
In Japan, lottery sale applications for the GM-S5600XG-1JR (36,300 yen) and GMA-S110XG-4AJR (25,300 yen) will open on May 29 at 10:00 a.m. and end on June 2 at 12:00 p.m. The watches will also be released throughout Asia in June and a worldwide release is expected.
