While all eyes will be on the new GWF-D1000 Frogman this summer, Casio is also releasing an all-new ocean-themed G-Shock G-LIDE model for June 2016.
The G-LIDE GAX-100 is an analog-digital large case G-Shock with a tide chart and moon age graph. It also has a thermometer sensor which is a surprising new feature for this type of case. The GAX-100 has the same bezel as the GA-100 and GA-110 with dimensions of 55 x 55.2 x 16.9 mm and a weight of 69 grams. With its high-contrast markers, additional features, and affordable price, the GAX-100 is a solid alternative to the GA-100 and GA-110, especially for ocean enthusiasts and maritime workers. Retail price for the standard GAX-100 models is ¥16,000 JPY and ¥19,000 JPY for the marbled color (MA and MB) editions.
Update: G-Shock USA announced all six models. Retail price is $130 for the standard black and white models and $160 for the marbled color models
