G-Shock Japan is now accepting pre-orders for two high-end, made-in-Japan Master of G models featuring a tough tactical appearance. These two watches are listed for a September 2026 release.
The G-Shock Frogman GWF-D1000BC-1JF (Â¥198,000) is the first GWF-D1000 release since 2019 and the first GWF-D1000 model with a composite link band made of resin and metal. The bezel has a black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, and the front screws have a black ion plating.
The band has a quick extension mechanism that can be easily adjusted by hand to wear the watch over wetsuits or other clothing, and the screw-type adjustment system provides fine-tuning.
Equipped with a stainless steel screw-back case, the GWF-D1000 with ISO Diver’s 200M water resistance was first launched in 2016 and features Tough Solar power, Multi-Band 6 time adjustment, tide graph and moon data, dive time measurement and surface interval display, and a triple sensor with water depth, direction, and temperature measurements.
The G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-B1000-1A3JF (Â¥132,000) features a black bezel and olive green resin band. The ultra-tough GWG-B1000 features resistance to mud, dust, and vibration, Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6, Bluetooth, and Triple Sensor with altimeter-barometer, compass, and thermometer. It also features the Location Indicator for navigational aid to a recorded destination.
The GWF-D1000BC-1 and GWG-B1000-1A3 are not designated as limited editions, but they have been announced only in Japan so far.
