Hong Kong-based Alvarae Design specializes in manufacturing a wide range of carbon fiber and forged carbon products, from luxurious home furnishings to personal accessories and even boats. Alvarae has now created a carbon composite bezel that fits the bestselling G-Shock DW-6900 series of watches. The manufacturing process of the Forged Carbon Armour bezel involves compressing carbon shreds in a mold and applying pressure and heat. The result is a unique-looking forged carbon block that is lightweight and extremely strong.
The Forged Carbon Armour comes in a wooden box with a DIY screwdriver tool, matching blacked-out stainless steel screws, and a place to hold the original bezel. The retail price is $499 USD. For orders visit https://alvarae.com.
