Amazon.com has joined Casio.com in offering pre-orders on the new G-Shock GBDH2000 series. Like Casio, Amazon is offering the black and orange GBDH2000-1A and the black and yellow GBDH2000-1A9 for $399 each, with a release date of March 10. Unlike the Casio website, Amazon is also selling the full black GBD-H2000-1B (a.k.a. GBD-H2000-1BCR). This is similar to when the first generation GBD-H1000 launched and Amazon.com was the only official retailer in the U.S. to sell the GBD-H1000-8. Seeing that Casio is not selling the GBD-H2000-1B in the U.S. directly on its website, it’s likely that Amazon will be the only official retailer to sell it in the U.S.
The GBD-H2000-1B is one of the most advanced G-Shock models designed for fitness and the outdoors, featuring an optical heart rate monitor, GPS, Bluetooth, step counter, gyroscope, and the Triple Sensor (pressure with altimeter and barometer, compass, thermometer). It is also the first G-Shock watch with fitness tracking and analysis software by Polar.
