Cobarion-covered G-Shock GM-6900CCC-3 is limited to 10 watches

Hypebeast Japan recently revealed the G-Shock GM-6900CCC-3, which features a Cobarion bezel and a camouflage pattern on the bezel, face, resin band, and case back. This special release is limited to only ten watches, and Hypebeast states that the watches will be given to “10 key individuals” from around the world and are “positioned as seeding pieces for individuals who embody the cultural context of G-SHOCK.”
Cobarion is a super-hard Japanese alloy valued for its platinum-like sheen, scratch resistance, and hardness of about four times pure titanium. Previously, only select G-Shock MR-G watches featured Cobarion bezels. Beyond its strong military ties, the G-Shock 6900 line remains a streetwear staple, with celebrities sporting ice-out versions, rappers and musicians continuing to support the DW-6900, and fashion brands frequently selecting it for collaborations.
Casio has not announced the GM-6900CCC-3 release or its recipients yet, and a future update is expected.
