The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) is releasing its second limited edition Harimau Malaya edition G-Shock. The GA-900FAM-1A9 watch is a black and yellow GA-900A-1A9 that represents the Malaysia national team colors. The tiger face and FAM logos are printed on the lower band, with tiger claw stripes on the upper band and a Harimau Malaya logo on the band keeper.
There are 680 watches available, and customers must play an online game (at www.gshockpenaltykick.com.my) and score in the top 680 by November 23, to qualify for the opportunity to purchase the watch for RM699. The game is only available to Malaysian nationals who are 18 years or older and residing in Malaysia. We took a look at the game, and it is a game of chance rather than skill, with replays allowed.
The watch comes in special packaging and is part of a set that also includes a commemorative coin, enamel pin, vinyl sticker pack, embroidery patch, and fabric face mask. The first collaboration, the GA-2000FAM-1A9, was limited to 999 watches and sold out within hours after its launch in May 2021.
